Sr Staff Systems & Applications Engineering

Responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and collaborate with Marketing, Business Division management, and Sales to drive product growth.
• Provide deep technical support and training to customers, including circuit design reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Define product requirements, family roadmaps, and detailed design specifications.
• Translate device-level system use cases into product specifications to ensure customer needs are met.
• Perform physical silicon device evaluation at the board level and participate in FPGA-based design prototyping.
• Support the hiring and management of technical teams to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the power management space, ideally within semiconductor companies.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on expertise in lab debugging, probing, and characterizing circuits using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other standard equipment.
• Proficiency in C and Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of control loop theory and its application in power converters.
• Experience with PCB CAD tools for both schematic design and layout.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SIMPLIS or similar circuit simulators.
• Experience using FEA tools for thermal, electrical, and magnetic investigations.
• Knowledge of AECQ, IATF, or ISO26262 (FuSa) standards.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or JMP.
