Sr Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve critical logistics tools
• Act as a high-seniority individual contributor (IC) connecting data science and software engineering
• Deploy ML models to production with a focus on robustness, testability, and observability
• Build and evangelize engineering best practices including unit/integrated tests, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to support technical and business decisions
• Propose innovations and contribute to the long-term vision of logistics systems
• Act transversally where technical need is highest within the team

Requirements

• Experience with AWS cloud and container orchestration (Kubernetes / IKS)
• Experience putting ML models into production including pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and data integration
• Strong engineering culture including unit tests, integrated tests, CI/CD, and code quality practices
• Fluency in English for interviews and stakeholder communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with route simulation and optimization
• Familiarity with map and routing data (e.g., OpenStreetMap, distance matrices)
• History of elevating engineering quality in data science teams
• Proficiency in Rust
