Sr. Staff Hardware Systems Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to develop product features and translate them into technical requirements and sub-system architectures within the vehicle's low voltage electrical system
• Model system-level trade-offs regarding distributed compute, network resources, power efficiency, and latency
• Establish vendor relationships to map hardware platforms and build a scalable infotainment roadmap
• Guide the development of prototypes and proofs-of-concept to study next-gen technologies
• Collaborate with performance engineers and software teams to create validation plans and identify system bottlenecks

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics industries
• Deep familiarity with automotive high-compute technologies including GPU, display, camera, and ISP pipelines
• Experience designing embedded systems optimized for network performance, power efficiency, and latency
• Hands-on experience with high-compute SoCs, MCUs, sensors, and automotive networking components
• Strong understanding of embedded computing platforms (CPU, GPU, NPU, DSP, ISP) and memory systems
• Proficiency with automotive interfaces such as PCIe, GMSL, FPD-Link, Ethernet, A2B, USB, and CAN-FD
• Knowledge of wireless technologies including GNSS, BLE, LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and UWB
