Sr. Specialist Solution Architect, Edge

Responsibilities

• Act as a specialist in CDN and perimeter defense, designing appropriate architectures and solving technical challenges alongside account teams.
• Participate in the early stages of complex projects to support proposal strategies and planning as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with service development teams to address the unique needs of large-scale customers and contribute to AWS service roadmaps and improvements.
• Serve as a Thought Leader in the edge computing domain by speaking at internal and external industry events and sharing expertise through blogs or other platforms.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in Web/API acceleration and perimeter defense, covering requirements definition, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience in perimeter defense, including DDoS mitigation, WAF, network/application security, vulnerability scanning, or penetration testing.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executive-level stakeholders (CIO/CTO).
• Proficiency in English for reading and writing, with the ability to engage in technical discussions.
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally to drive organizational impact.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading and completing complex projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Deep technical knowledge of competitor CDN and perimeter protection products and industry trends.
• Experience presenting at technical conferences or publishing technical articles/blogs.
