About the role
Responsibilities
- Own vehicle-level electrical and software integration strategy, execution, and release readiness
- Own integration of all domain controllers and distributed ECUs into the vehicle E/E architecture
- Manage Software Integration & Validation per vehicle software maturity and release gates
- Validate network topology, gateway routing, signal database integrity, and bandwidth utilization
- Validate vehicle communication across CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and FlexRay
- Manage bootloader compatibility, flashing strategy, and AUTOSAR partitioning
- Coordinate integration across Powertrain, Body, ADAS, Infotainment, and Zonal Controllers
- Validate system behavior under nominal, boundary, and fault injection scenarios
- Lead vehicle-level regression test planning and root cause analysis for cross-domain issues
- Validate functional KPIs including defect leakage, build stability, and bus load margins
- Validate ECU wake-up/sleep strategies and power state transitions
- Validate UDS/DoIP response timing and diagnostic robustness
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
- Proficiency in automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229)
- Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
- Proficiency in Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
- Familiarity with vehicle network tools like CANalyzer and CANoe
- Knowledge of automotive design and development processes
