Sr. Specialist - L1 Integration Testing

Responsibilities

• Own vehicle-level electrical and software integration strategy, execution, and release readiness
• Own integration of all domain controllers and distributed ECUs into the vehicle E/E architecture
• Manage Software Integration & Validation per vehicle software maturity and release gates
• Validate network topology, gateway routing, signal database integrity, and bandwidth utilization
• Validate vehicle communication across CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and FlexRay
• Manage bootloader compatibility, flashing strategy, and AUTOSAR partitioning
• Coordinate integration across Powertrain, Body, ADAS, Infotainment, and Zonal Controllers
• Validate system behavior under nominal, boundary, and fault injection scenarios
• Lead vehicle-level regression test planning and root cause analysis for cross-domain issues
• Validate functional KPIs including defect leakage, build stability, and bus load margins
• Validate ECU wake-up/sleep strategies and power state transitions
• Validate UDS/DoIP response timing and diagnostic robustness

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
• Proficiency in automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) and UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229)
• Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• Proficiency in Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
• Familiarity with vehicle network tools like CANalyzer and CANoe
• Knowledge of automotive design and development processes
