Sr. Specialist - Global Molding Procurement

Responsibilities

• Provide category ownership for outsourced molding across 3M businesses and divisions.
• Drive procurement policies and best practices to meet cost savings, growth, and working capital goals.
• Lead negotiations and manage complex supplier relationships, including contract manufacturers and co-packers.
• Minimize total product and process costs through cost reduction efforts and "Should Cost" modeling.
• Identify and implement solutions for dual-sourcing, category strategy, and risk reduction.
• Partner with internal stakeholders in Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.
• Lead contract negotiations in tandem with 3M Legal and divisional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Ten (10) years of combined experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with molding suppliers, contract manufacturers, and co-packers.
• Proven project management experience and strong negotiation skills.
• Strong financial acumen and comfort conducting business analytics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
