Sr. Specialist, Container Management

Responsibilities

• Lead in developing, designing and implementing planning concepts and projects for the Container Management Function
• Support suppliers in processes such as transportation, infrastructure, packaging, scheduling and equipment
• Schedule empties including pallets, containers, and transport frames
• Track delivery backlogs and identify potential supply chain risks
• Develop and align countermeasures for bottleneck control and container inventory
• Maintain data for transport container inventory management and control
• Establish constructive and cooperative communication with suppliers
• Steer empty containers between the Scout plant and supplier plants to ensure adequate supply

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in automotive production and logistics
• Experience in inbound/outbound logistics, supply chain management, or JIT/JIS
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong technical skills in networking, hardware, software systems, and process design
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in automotive logistics container management
