Sr. Specialist – CI/CD Automation

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for secondary ECU software and full vehicle software releases
• Automate build, integration, validation, and packaging workflows across multiple ECU domains
• Develop orchestration frameworks for incremental builds, multi-ECU dependency management, and release traceability
• Optimize pipeline execution time, scalability, and reliability
• Automate vehicle manifest generation, package signing, and OTA release bundle creation
• Support coordinated software releases across body ECUs, gateway ECUs, infotainment, and ADAS/Autonomy modules
• Build release gating and approval workflows for production vehicle software
• Integrate automated validation into CI pipelines including unit, integration, SIL/HIL testing, and regression suites
• Develop automation around containerized build environments and cross-compilation toolchains
• Manage versioning strategy, release branching, and dependency management across ECU software stacks
• Ensure reproducible builds with traceability from commit to artifact to vehicle
• Design and manage artifact storage and distribution systems for firmware and calibration data

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience
• Strong understanding of vehicle E/E architecture and ECU-level software stacks
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
• Proficiency in UDS diagnostics (ISO 14229)
• Expert knowledge of Jira, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and Artifactory
• ALM/PLM proficiency in Siemens Polarion, IBM DOORS Next Gen, or PTC Windchill
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and HIL test environments (dSpace)
• Familiarity with vehicle network tools such as CANalyzer or CANoe
