Sr. Special Programs & Government Security Solutions Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic compliance efforts and monitor regulatory requirements for defense, aerospace, and sensitive government programs.
• Support compliance with DFAR/FAR, CUI/CDI/CMMC, ITAR, and other restricted-access program regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Contracts, Cybersecurity, and Global Trade Compliance.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders in federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Manage technology controls, including Technology Control Plans, tagging, marking, and access/transfer controls.
• Assist with internal audits, self-assessments, and external certification processes.
• Support government registrations and procurement processes such as SAM, VIPERS, and DoD Supplier Performance Risk System.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of anti-corruption and FCPA compliance programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in the government and defense sectors (business development, account management, or compliance).
• Working knowledge of government procurement processes, contract vehicles, and the DPAS system.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET or TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree, MBA, or law degree.
• NISPOM program management experience.
• Familiarity with program managers at the Department of Energy, FAA, NIST, or NSF.
• Prior experience at US government agencies or national laboratories supporting R&D programs.
