Sr. Software Operations Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for a mission-critical cybersecurity and GRC platform supporting multiple federal stakeholders.
• Manage and track Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and system availability metrics to ensure performance targets are met.
• Oversee operational reporting, including the development of performance dashboards and executive-level reporting.
• Coordinate continuous monitoring activities and support ongoing Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts aligned with RMF requirements.
• Lead POA&M management, including the identification, prioritization, and remediation tracking of vulnerabilities.
• Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards, including NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-37.
• Drive audit readiness by maintaining documentation and evidence artifacts required for assessments.
• Manage incident response and operational issue resolution, ensuring rapid triage and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of six (6) years of overall professional work experience.
• Experience in IT service delivery, cybersecurity operations, or enterprise production support.
• Hands-on experience supporting continuous monitoring, ATO processes, and RMF lifecycle activities.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-37.
• Experience managing POA&M processes and vulnerability remediation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal cybersecurity programs aligned with FISMA.
• Knowledge of multi-tenant or shared-service environments.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security integration.
• Experience with automated monitoring, vulnerability scanning, or security analytics tools.
• Prior experience supporting DOJ, DHS, or other civilian federal agencies.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, or Security+.
