Sr Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Solve high-urgency technical challenges and perform deep root cause analysis across a global advertising platform
• Identify performance issues and recommend architectural changes to improve system reliability
• Build diagnostic tooling and processes to help identify and remediate technical issues
• Deliver rapid customer value by shipping quick fixes and advocating for enterprise-level changes
• Communicate highly technical issues clearly to both developers and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience troubleshooting complex, large-scale systems
• Strong full-stack development skills and ability to work across a diverse codebase
• Experience building diagnostic or monitoring tooling
• Ability to detect subtle but serious dangers in flawed system designs
• Strong technical communication skills and ability to collaborate with various engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in technologies such as C#, T-SQL, Vertica, or React
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new programming languages and tools
• Experience working in high-pressure environments requiring rapid problem-solving
