Sr. Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software products and platforms for semiconductor design automation.
• Develop software and AI solutions to improve productivity, quality, reliability, and design reuse.
• Integrate commercial EDA tools via API/CLI into Skyworks design flows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define automation requirements and debug design flow issues.
• Use AI/ML to optimize processes and build predictability across process flows.
• Define and develop high-quality software development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficiency in UI technologies (React.js, QT) and Backend languages (Python, C++, or Java).
• Experience with databases such as Azure SQL or Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning models and developing custom AI agents.
• Experience with DevOps tools including GitHub and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with both Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with version control systems like Git or Perforce.

Preferred Qualifications

• Domain experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Exposure to large-scale EDA compute environments or regression infrastructures.
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premise and cloud engineering platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts applied specifically to EDA flows and tooling.
