Sr. Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain EDA automation products and platforms supporting schematic, layout, simulation, and verification.
• Develop software solutions using Python and Tcl to improve productivity, quality, and design reuse.
• Customize and integrate commercial EDA tools into existing design flows.
• Collaborate with IC designers, layout engineers, and CAD teams to define automation requirements.
• Debug design flow issues and improve tool reliability and scalability.
• Innovate new ways to architect and optimize the end-to-end product cycle flow.
• Utilize AI/ML to optimize processes and increase predictability and reliability across process flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong experience with EDA, CAD, or semiconductor design automation workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of C++ or Tcl.
• Extensive expertise working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and/or Perforce/CI/CD.
• Experience designing and maintaining SQL databases to support engineering workflows.
• Experience developing and deploying web user interfaces and backends.
• Experience using Machine Learning models to solve EDA challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with analog and mixed-signal design automation.
• Exposure to large-scale EDA compute environments or regression infrastructures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts applied to EDA flows and tooling.
• Experience supporting hybrid on-prem and cloud engineering platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
