Sr. Software Engineer II, AVP

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and debug software enhancements for Alpha Data Platform modules.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate business requirements into sustainable software.
• Participate in product architecture design and provide technical problem-solving for major project phases.
• Develop and implement applications using Java, React, and SQL within an Agile scrum environment.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and automation tests, and provide troubleshooting for mission-critical client implementations.
• Contribute to written design and API documentation.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• 4-8 years of software development experience, preferably in FinTech.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for developing microservices.
• Experience in front-end web development, specifically using React.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with RDBMS.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Experience developing cloud-native services (Azure experience is a plus).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Snowflake.
