Sr Software Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Own all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications within the Enterprise Orchestration Platform
• Perform hands-on architecture, design, and development of personalization systems supporting multiple business units
• Function as a senior engineer within an agile team to drive consistent development practices
• Spend approximately 60-70% of time writing and testing code, with the remainder spent collaborating with stakeholders
• Write high-quality code, unit tests, and API specifications while conducting thorough code reviews
• Provide continuous support for application availability and perform ongoing code refactoring
• Work closely with product owners to prioritize features, manage technical requirements, and develop product blueprints

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in building scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems
• Proven experience designing cloud-native solutions on GCP using Java and Python
• Strong experience with batch and real-time data processing using Spark, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and GKE
• Hands-on expertise in microservices, automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud deployment patterns
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, and distributed computing principles
• Ability to translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity
• Experience working with machine learning, analytical, or modeling platforms
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
