About the role
Responsibilities
- Own all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications within the Enterprise Orchestration Platform
- Perform hands-on architecture, design, and development of personalization systems supporting multiple business units
- Function as a senior engineer within an agile team to drive consistent development practices
- Spend approximately 60-70% of time writing and testing code, with the remainder spent collaborating with stakeholders
- Write high-quality code, unit tests, and API specifications while conducting thorough code reviews
- Provide continuous support for application availability and perform ongoing code refactoring
- Work closely with product owners to prioritize features, manage technical requirements, and develop product blueprints
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in building scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems
- Proven experience designing cloud-native solutions on GCP using Java and Python
- Strong experience with batch and real-time data processing using Spark, BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and GKE
- Hands-on expertise in microservices, automated testing, CI/CD, and cloud deployment patterns
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, and distributed computing principles
- Ability to translate complex business problems into scalable technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to improve productivity
- Experience working with machine learning, analytical, or modeling platforms
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
