Sr Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React and ASP.NET Core to support modern Single Page Application (SPA) experiences.
• Build and support robust RESTful APIs and backend microservices in C# with an emphasis on scalability and clean architecture.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server database schemas, T-SQL queries, and stored procedures to support high-volume data use cases.
• Implement enterprise-grade security practices, including secure coding patterns and robust authentication/authorization protocols.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept to release.
• Participate in code reviews, system troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure software quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent professional work experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience designing and supporting full-stack web applications.
• Strong backend proficiency in C# and modern .NET development (ASP.NET Core).
• Strong frontend proficiency in React, including functional components and custom hooks.
• Production experience with TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid database expertise with SQL Server and T-SQL, including data modeling and schema optimization.
• Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Entity Framework Core or similar ORM frameworks.
• Practical experience implementing OAuth2, JWT, or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud ecosystems like Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of asynchronous messaging patterns and queuing architectures.
• Previous engineering experience within the fintech or financial services industries.
