Sr. Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications for a mission-critical federal GRC platform
• Implement modern application architectures and reusable components for enterprise-level integration
• Apply secure coding practices and application security principles to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements
• Integrate security controls into the development lifecycle using DevSecOps practices
• Participate in Agile development teams, contributing to sprint planning and iterative delivery
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and security scanning processes
• Collaborate with system engineers and cybersecurity teams to align solutions with RMF and FISMA requirements
• Perform code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality application performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 8 years of overall professional work experience
• Extensive experience in full-stack application development within enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security (e.g., OWASP Top 10)
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal GRC, cybersecurity, or compliance-driven IT systems
• Familiarity with RMF and FISMA frameworks
• Knowledge of cloud-ready or hybrid architectures
• Professional certifications such as Security+, CSSLP, or relevant cloud certifications
