Sr Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
• Develop and maintain scripts for automated provisioning, configuration, and orchestration
• Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Implement monitoring solutions and centralized logging to track system and application performance
• Provide on-call support on a rotational basis and participate in incident investigation and troubleshooting
• Manage disaster recovery practices to maintain application reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate development and operations processes
• Conduct capacity planning and implement optimizations for high availability and scalability

Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering or similar roles
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Strong proficiency in Shell and Python scripting
• Strong Linux skillset for application deployment and management
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure management
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically GCE and GKE
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and load balancing

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with monolithic and microservices architectures
• Understanding of databases and SQL queries
• Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Engineer or Certified DevOps Engineer
