Sr. Site Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize site layouts, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, access roads, and utility corridors
• Drive early-stage site selection, feasibility studies, and due diligence
• Design and review earthwork plans, cut/fill balancing, and mass grading strategies
• Coordinate site infrastructure systems including roads, drainage, and underground utilities
• Manage and coordinate external engineering firms, consultants, and contractors
• Oversee development of issued-for-construction (IFC) packages for site civil works
• Collaborate with structural, process, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure integrated site design
• Review and validate 3D models and design packages
• Conduct constructability reviews and support cost estimation and scheduling
• Support permitting and regulatory approvals
• Provide field engineering support during construction
• Develop and improve standards, workflows, and tools for scalable site development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in site development and civil engineering for industrial, mining, or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Proven experience delivering greenfield capital projects from concept through construction
• Proficiency with Civil 3D
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or Bluebeam
• Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Strong track record managing external engineering firms and contractors

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, mining, mineral processing, or chemical facilities
• Experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) environments
