Sr. Shared Services AP Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor with daily workload delegation
• Act as a primary resource and mentor for AP assistants
• Train staff on department systems, policies, procedures, and new accounting functions
• Enter invoices into accounting systems and provide accurate General Ledger coding
• Upload files into SAP using Winshuttle
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries
• Research payments, prepare payment proposal reports, and prepare journal entries for month-end accruals
• Process check requests and expense reports while verifying documentation and approvals
• Perform system testing to identify and help resolve technical issues

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of related experience in accounts payable or a similar role
• Proficiency with SAP
• Strong Excel skills for performing intermediate tasks
• Knowledge of Winshuttle for data uploading
