Sr Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security tools, systems, controls, and procedures for complex enterprise and web systems
• Identify, track, and manage enterprise risks within the Information Technology space
• Assist management with the development of technology policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures
• Lead cooperative efforts among project team members and sub-functional teams
• Provide advice and direction in primary areas of security expertise
• Mentor and train junior team members while serving as a best practice resource
• Work independently to solve complex problems and determine methods for new assignments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in security engineering or a similar field
• Deep knowledge of security tools, systems, and methodologies
• Proven ability to manage enterprise risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Experience developing and working with technology policies and standards
• Strong ability to exercise judgment in selecting technical methods and evaluation criteria
