Sr Scientist, Drug Metabolism

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced PK and PK/PD modeling expertise to guide the design and interpretation of nonclinical studies across discovery and development stages.
• Drive quantitative DMPK strategy for programs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate modeling approaches into decision-making.
• Design, implement, and validate complex PK/PD and mechanistic models to address translational questions and support dose selection.
• Develop and refine modeling workflows, including simulation-based approaches and the application of AI-based enhancements.
• Work closely with project teams, line management, and CROs to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of documents for regulatory submissions.
• Participate in business development and licensing evaluations.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in a life science field (PK, drug metabolism, pharmaceutics, or related).
• 5+ years of post-graduate industry experience in quantitative modeling of agents such as small molecules, biologics, or ADCs.
• Strong foundation in PK and PD principles with the ability to translate concepts into mathematical models.
• Extensive experience in mechanistic PK/PD and multi-compartmental modeling.
• Proficiency in software platforms such as Phoenix/WinNonlin, MATLAB, GastroPlus, SimBiology, or R.
• Hands-on experience applying AI in model-building and streamlining/automating workflows.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
