Sr. SAP ABAP Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical expertise in the analysis, design, development, and support of SAP-based HR management and decision support systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Business Analysts to review and clarify business requirements to ensure designs meet internal standards and policies.
• Resolve complex, multi-faceted business problems and manage multiple small HR technology projects or specific sections of large-scale projects.
• Participate in SAP system implementations by interpreting requirements into technical specifications, configuring software, and developing new reports or integrations.
• Review Quality Assurance (QA) test strategies and support testing by analyzing defects and providing technical resolutions.
• Ensure all activities are compliant with governing regulations, internal policies, and the Bank's risk appetite.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP Extension Suite implementation.
• Experience with Fiori development.
• Proficient hands-on configuration experience in SAP RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows), BADIs, and TMS.
• Expertise with SAP HCM Infotypes, Schema, GL Mapping, Payroll Processing, and Debugging.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills to build consensus with users and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Spanish speaking skills are considered an asset.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
