About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable revenue growth and market share by meeting annual and seasonal goals
- Develop annual operating plans for large accounts within the Amazon channel
- Negotiate annual trade spend and manage internal P&L in collaboration with sales finance
- Lead promotion planning and conduct detailed post-promotion analysis
- Build and nurture strong account relationships at all levels of the organization
- Partner with CPFR and Demand Planning to provide accurate program, product, and SKU level forecasts
- Analyze shopper insight data to develop and implement channel-specific strategies
- Create fact-based sales presentations using category and market knowledge
- Collaborate with Platform Marketing and the Customer Leadership Center on product and activation plans
- Develop Go-to-Market strategies for the assigned channel in conjunction with cross-functional partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 5 years of sales and account management experience within Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)
- Proven experience in category management or managing account P&Ls
- Strong negotiation and fact-based selling skills
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and account penetration at higher management levels
- Ability to communicate consumer trends and formulate actionable programs using data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a major CPG manufacturer
- Advanced analytical skills regarding market share, pricing, and shopper insights
