About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global commercial strategy for Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) segments.
  • Build, scale, and lead a high-performing global sales organization, including coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Develop scalable market penetration strategies across commercial, dual-use, and defense segments.
  • Create tiered customer coverage models and identify strategic channel partners or distribution models.
  • Own the full opportunity lifecycle, from prospecting and executive-level relationship building to complex negotiations and contracting.
  • Partner with product management, engineering, and marketing to align technology roadmaps with Voice of Customer (VoC) insights.
  • Drive operational excellence through accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and market trend analysis.
  • Represent Honeywell as an industry thought leader at global events and regulatory forums.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in aerospace, defense, UAS, or adjacent high-tech aviation markets.
  • Demonstrated success in owning global commercial strategies and managing complex customer relationships.
  • Experience building and leading sales organizations, including developing playbooks and pipeline discipline.
  • Strong track record in leading complex technical sales cycles and high-stakes negotiations.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to travel 50% or more.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Direct experience in UAS, autonomy systems, avionics, or defense aviation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for action and strategic analytical capability.
