Sr Safety Manager - Electrical Construction

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, federal/state requirements, and company safety standards
• Partner with field operations and craft employees to promote engagement and ownership of safety practices
• Exercise Stop Work Authority to ensure safe working conditions
• Analyze leading indicators and upcoming work activities to proactively identify and mitigate risk
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
• Lead investigations of incidents and near misses, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective measures
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate safety performance
• Provide clear and timely safety reporting to project and senior leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of construction safety management experience
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to travel weekly to project sites across the United States
• Willingness to relocate to the Boston, MA area
