Sr. Risk Manager, APAC, High Severity Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Manage rapid response coordination for high-severity incidents affecting Last Mile drivers, customers, and the community.
• Deep dive into incidents to drive organizational accountability and generate insights for risk mitigation and safety program improvements.
• Provide empathetic support and professional communication to internal and external stakeholders during sensitive or tragic situations.
• Coordinate response processes through thoughtful communication with senior Amazon leadership.
• Develop mechanisms to measure quality, effectiveness, and scale for global processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to lead rapid response activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Japanese.
• Ability to relocate to Tokyo, Japan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in crisis management, incident management, or trauma support.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Experience implementing lean principles or Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
• Master's degree or equivalent.
