Sr Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to evaluate new product designs and engineering changes regarding reliability, user requirements, and warranty data
• Coordinate with Engineering and Marketing to define product specifications for test validation
• Optimize product testing to shorten development cycles and facilitate concrete design decisions
• Lead Design and Manufacturing Risk Assessments during the product development cycle
• Develop test plans and procedures to ensure products meet customer requirements
• Apply statistical analysis and reliability modeling to analyze product data and communicate findings
• Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective/preventative actions (FRACA)

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or an equivalent educational field
• 5+ years of experience in reliability and quality engineering
• Experience with new product commercialization processes
• Proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE) and life data analysis
• Experience using statistical tools and software such as Minitab or Reliasoft
• Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)

Preferred Qualifications

• ASQ Reliability Engineering Certification (ASQ-CRE)
• Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) or Six Sigma experience
• 2+ years of experience working with power electronics design and reliability
• Working knowledge of international safety standards (IEC, UL, UN, etc.) relevant to energy storage
