Sr. R&D Test Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build new systems and instrumentation to accelerate development of Voya’s metal-air fuel cell generators
• Work with Voya’s material scientists to ideate, deploy, and improve research platforms
• Help scale Voya’s technology to first commercial deployments
• Develop new sensors and sensing technologies for Voya’s generators
• Document assembly and operating procedures for new equipment and systems

Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing and building custom process, laboratory, or automation equipment
• Experience with sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems
• Experience with pumps and fluid handling
• Basic CAD proficiency
• Experience developing hardware across several disciplines of engineering
• Proficiency in at least two of the following: prototype fabrication (mills/lathes/3D printing), ECAD/PCB design, P&ID and electrical wiring diagrams, electrochemical systems (fuel cells, batteries, electrolyzers), or precipitation and filtration equipment
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, start-up environment
