Sr R&D Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support existing tool functionality and enhance versatility, performance, and memory utilization.
• Apply advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures to develop efficient implementations.
• Collaborate with R&D members and customers to understand product goals and technical needs.
• Contribute to the development of complex software tools in a multi-person, high-dependency environment.
• Develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to meet project milestones and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
• In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their practical applications.
• Extensive software development experience using C/C++ on UNIX/Linux platforms.
• Proven track record in developing complex, large-scale software code-based tools.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Python, TCL, and shell scripting languages.
• Knowledge of HDL languages such as Verilog or System Verilog.
• Background in hardware functional verification or synthesis techniques.
• Experience with software specification, design processes, and regression testing.
