Sr Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using Playwright or Selenium
• Conduct back-end and API validation, including testing integrations with SQL/noSQL databases and queuing services
• Perform performance testing using tools like Locust to evaluate system stability
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document technical issues with clear, actionable defect reports
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using frameworks like Jenkins or GitLab
• Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to advise on testing best practices and tools
• Maintain technical documentation of test plans and scripts in Confluence

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience
• 5+ years of experience in automated testing of web applications with complex business logic
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Proven experience with Playwright or Selenium for React and Flutter applications
• Familiarity with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Proficiency in Postman for API verification
• Strong analytical and communication skills for working in an Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Locust for performance testing
• Familiarity with AI-based testing tools
• Experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience testing native mobile applications and web services
• Knowledge of electronic payment products and providers
