Sr QA Engineer (Functional)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and functional testing of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and create effective test cases
• Identify, document, and track bugs to closure
• Conduct regression testing, system integration testing, and UAT support
• Develop and maintain reusable test cases and test data
• Work with automation teams, leveraging Java/Python for test scripting where required
• Ensure compliance with QA best practices and processes

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in QA/Functional Testing roles
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Functional Testing
• Hands-on knowledge of Java or Python
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in writing clear test cases, bug reports, and documentation
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify test scenarios effectively
• B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to automation testing frameworks
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
