Sr Project Specialist

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers and long-term contract accounts.
• Manage quotations, contract reviews, and project management to ensure clear price and delivery expectations.
• Read and interpret customer project specifications to determine appropriate product offerings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality departments to meet customer requirements.
• Provide official quotations using a cost-plus basis and accurately calculate estimated costs for new products.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including inspection test plans, production schedules, and vendor documents.
• Manage customer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, shipping, and invoicing.
• Process customer Purchase Orders by entering Sales Orders into the ERP system.
• Provide project management for complex orders, including progress reports and milestone tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Five (5) years of direct experience in developing customer quotations within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to maintain Authorized Driver status as defined by company policy.
• Strong problem-solving, analysis, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
