About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide program leadership and guidance for all Construction Management activities acting as the Owner's Agent.
- Advise on and implement solutions for program-level technical and contractual challenges to maintain construction progress.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators including safety, quality control, schedule, and financial performance metrics.
- Coordinate with key program stakeholders and provide accurate upward reporting to the client.
- Manage internal project phases including planning, recruiting, mobilization, and program execution.
- Identify design and construction risks and develop project-specific mitigation strategies.
- Assess program needs and trends to determine and acquire necessary resources to meet objectives.
- Oversee program performance to ensure all financial, schedule, deliverable, and safety targets are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (CM).
- Active Secret security clearance.
- 15+ years of diversified experience in Owner’s Agent PM/CM services for large, complex programs.
- Significant experience with Progressive Design Build or CM at Risk processes.
- Experience managing major construction projects with a value exceeding $250M.
- Advanced leadership skills with the ability to manage large groups of personnel and resolve complex assignments.
- Expert knowledge of standard Construction Management practices and risk mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
- TS/SCI level security clearance.
- Professional Registration as a PE (Professional Engineer) or RA (Registered Architect).
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification.
- OSHA 10/OSHA 30 safety certifications.
- USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management (CQM) certification.
