Sr. Program Manager, Aerospace & Defense

Responsibilities

• Lead complex aerospace and defense programs end-to-end, ensuring delivery against revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Develop and support direct reports through continuous learning and formal performance management.
• Establish executable plans and risk mitigations to achieve annual business plans regarding orders, revenue, and cash flow.
• Contribute to site business strategy, including market insights, product roadmaps, and long-range strategic planning.
• Define and implement customer communication plans to represent the Voice of the Customer and build long-term relationships.
• Manage program resources and manpower to ensure optimum utilization.
• Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate projected status against approved plans.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing new processes, tools, and team training.
• Partner with Functional Leaders, Business Development, and Operations to align on shared goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of Program Management experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong financial acumen related to proposal pricing, contract negotiations, and cost estimates.
• Proven ability to build internal and external relationships and maintain customer trust.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Program Management.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Multi-discipline experience in Operations Management, Business Development, or Engineering.
• PMI Certification.
• Active DoD SECRET clearance.
