Sr. Program Buyer

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for medium to high complexity programs from initiation through serial production
• Coordinate preparation of Project Bill of Materials (BOM) budgets and sourcing timelines with Engineering, Finance, and Operations
• Monitor BOM budgets throughout the project lifecycle, identifying variances and driving corrective actions to maintain cost targets
• Track sourcing milestones including RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract finalization
• Negotiate favorable supplier terms to ensure quality, continuity, and risk mitigation
• Support supplier onboarding by evaluating capabilities, competitiveness, and compliance
• Provide regular updates on procurement progress, risks, and commercial matters to internal stakeholders and management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proven negotiation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive cross-functional environments
