Sr. Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate large-capacity Anti-Reflective (AR) coating machines and perform daily/weekly maintenance on vacuum coating chambers.
• Manage the full AR coating process, including cleaning machines, loading lenses into appropriate tooling, and selecting correct recipes and chemicals.
• Conduct final quality inspections on all batch-coated lenses to ensure adherence to cosmetic and performance standards.
• Perform troubleshooting on equipment and work with supervisors to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of all processes and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and work direction to less experienced employees.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes to simplify tasks and reduce costs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and lift up to 15 pounds above head.
• Specific vision abilities required, including close vision for detailed inspection.
• Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
