Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production systems to ensure compliance with manufacturing processes, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Plan, develop, and drive the creation of new features and modules with SaaS partners and internal tools teams
  • Perform trade studies and drive decision-making on business systems and infrastructure
  • Derive, automate, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Analyze production operations to identify and troubleshoot supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance issues
  • Troubleshoot business systems, integration, and data-related issues to ensure high uptime and data integrity
  • Architect work-streams and drive optimizations across the business in collaboration with design, manufacturing, and flight teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or software engineering
  • 5+ years of professional experience in production or operations
  • Significant hands-on experience in business system implementation, configuration, and optimization
  • 2+ years of programming experience in Python, C#, or SQL
  • Expertise in analytics, metrics definition, and dashboard development (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience developing engineering infrastructure such as PLM, ERP, MRP, and MES

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with quality management systems (e.g., 14 CFR 21.137, AS9100)
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, IoT, digital twins, and advanced manufacturing analytics
  • Experience integrating PLC/HMI, SCADA, and industrial automation platforms
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control
  • Experience evaluating and executing production system architectures
