Sr Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned production lines during the night shift (Sunday – Saturday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am) to ensure efficient operations and optimal productivity.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and tooling to achieve effective product assembly and on-time delivery.
• Manage staffing plans, including resource identification, personnel justifications, and coordination with Human Resources.
• Develop direct reports through training, task assignment, and performance management.
• Monitor daily metrics and provide guidance to lower-level supervisors and skilled staff to achieve unit goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment through 100% training compliance and adherence to applicable procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with the Quality Management System and all internal and external regulations.
• Oversee product integrity from initial assembly through to final distribution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
• 7+ years of related professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and standards for Medical Device manufacturing, specifically cGMPs and CFRs.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work on-site in Alajuela, Costa Rica, during night shift hours.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
