About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive and review diverse client issues via phone, email, portal, and help desk to define impact and severity
- Document and generate support tickets for tracking and classify issues from low to critical impact
- Coordinate with relevant business and technical groups to initiate prompt resolution for high-impact issues
- Provide level one technical support for desktop, PC, and merchant terminals, including software updates and installations
- Verify system functionality during and after scheduled maintenance and monitor critical path processing
- Escalate complex issues to experienced peers or specialized technical teams as required
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in a help desk environment
- Experience working with POS Terminals
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience
