About the role
Responsibilities
- Own product quality and field performance for the drone and Sky-Hero portfolios, including quality metrics, RMA thresholds, and corrective action playbooks
- Analyze field performance and customer escalation data to guide critical decisions regarding stop-ship, containment, and defect tolerances
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts in partnership with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success
- Set product lifecycle strategy, including SKU architecture, pricing, bundling, and end-of-life planning
- Model product economics, including CoGS and margins, to validate ROI and drive cost reduction initiatives
- Build commercial and sales operations readiness for new product launches, including pricing authority and deal desk workflows
- Travel onsite to customer locations to de-escalate critical situations and serve as a technical and business resource
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant Product Operations Management experience, ideally in a technology or operational environment
- Background in operations, project management, or engineering (e.g., manufacturing, quality, or production engineering)
- Proven experience solving complex user interaction problems and managing technical trade-offs
- Strong problem-solving skills and well-structured written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-10%)
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical expertise in the design, operation, or back-end support of robots
- Experience working directly with local, state, or federal governmental agencies
- Degree in a STEM field
