About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic upstream marketing initiatives and roadmap development for the Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) capital systems portfolio.
- Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) strategy and customer discovery to identify unmet clinical, operational, and economic needs in acute care environments.
- Translate market, competitive, and clinical insights into product concepts, platform strategies, and long-range portfolio recommendations.
- Partner with R&D, engineering, clinical, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and technical feasibility.
- Develop business cases, market models, financial analyses, and pricing recommendations to support investment decisions.
- Support global commercialization planning and partner with downstream marketing and sales enablement teams for successful product launches.
- Build relationships with healthcare providers, hospital administrators, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) globally.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8-12+ years of progressive experience in product management, upstream marketing, or strategic marketing.
- Proven experience in the medical device or healthcare technology industry.
- Expertise in upstream marketing processes, including VOC, roadmap development, and business case creation.
- Experience managing complex capital systems or integrated hardware/software ecosystems.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience in patient monitoring, connected care, or capital equipment environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders within a highly matrixed global organization.
