About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a category within the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) domains
- Create and implement sourcing strategies to drive efficiencies, reduce risks, and lower costs
- Achieve cost savings through competitive bidding and effective negotiation strategies
- Analyze category data and market trends to drive procurement strategies
- Lead supplier selection processes and conduct business reviews to improve performance
- Build strong relationships with internal customers and manage contracts post-execution
Requirements
- 2+ years of program, project, or product management experience
- 6+ years of related industry experience
- 8+ years of data analysis experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau
- 8+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
- Proven track record in global supplier negotiations and cost reduction
- Experience with best-in-class procurement processes including RFX, benchmarking, and should-cost models
