Sr Procurement Buyer

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials to meet production and customer demands for aerospace products
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies
• Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in the procurement process
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules and monitor inventory levels
• Conduct regular order book reviews to manage purchase order date fidelity
• Utilize tiered escalation processes to resolve issues impacting site performance

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and industry best practices
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools, with SAP experience preferred
• Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
• Previous experience working within the aerospace industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
