Sr Procurement Buyer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity.
• Oversee complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
• Provide guidance and leadership to a team of procurement professionals, including buyers and purchasing agents.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers through due diligence to secure high-quality, cost-effective purchases.
• Monitor procurement costs, identify saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation.
• Foster strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and responsive supply chain.
• Ensure all activities adhere to relevant regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies.
• Manage the procurement budget and leverage technology solutions and analytics to enhance reporting and processes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in procurement and project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status) due to export control laws.
