Sr. Procurement Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the coding and accounting treatment of Purchase Orders, including GL accounts, cost centers, and expense classifications.
• Support the Accounts Payable team by providing guidance on the application of Purchase Orders to invoice payments.
• Develop, document, and enhance Procurement and Travel policies in alignment with corporate governance.
• Maintain the Transactions with Affiliates (TWA) log and support the preparation of documentation for approvals.
• Draft and coordinate internal shared services agreements and contracts with affiliates.
• Ensure proper documentation is maintained for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure expenses align with approved budgets and financial forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting or procurement functions.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping processes.
• Experience with General Ledger (GL) accounting and Fixed Assets accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Advanced analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
