About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead technology pathfinding activities to enable state-of-the-art device components, including charge storage devices and hi-k/metal gate transistors.
- Design experiments, process silicon, and analyze results in collaboration with materials analysis, device characterization, and modeling teams.
- Evaluate operating and failure mechanisms, noise sources, and variability to optimize device performance.
- Develop and integrate new device architectures from initial conception through silicon productization.
- Manage project activities across multiple fronts to meet technical goals and deadlines.
- Communicate complex technical problems and directions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Thorough knowledge of mainstream memory technologies such as DRAM, NAND, NOR, or SRAM.
- Proficiency with data analysis, DOE, and statistical techniques.
- Strong functional knowledge of materials science and semiconductor device physics.
- Understanding of semiconductor process integration and process development.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience driving cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in process integration and/or device engineering.
- Specific experience in DRAM or NAND process integration and development.
- Ability to collaborate successfully in a dynamic, multi-tasking team environment.
