Sr. Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise to improve product, process, and equipment performance regarding cost, quality, and service.
• Lead problem-solving efforts to ensure timely resolution of short-term process and equipment issues.
• Drive disciplined project leadership for new product introductions, cost reduction, and capacity improvement initiatives.
• Design and analyze first and next-generation products, processes, and equipment.
• Utilize statistical data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE) for process improvement and troubleshooting.
• Coach junior engineers and provide technical guidance to maintenance personnel and technicians.
• Identify and implement permanent solutions to long-term performance issues and develop manufacturing roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years of relevant working experience in the optical communications industry.
• Proven experience in project leadership from scope through implementation.
• Familiarity with CAB, PNP, and MTP design.
• Knowledge of reliability test standards including GR-326, GR-1435, GR-1209, and GR-1221.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and DOE.
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written.
