Sr. Process Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components to support advanced manufacturing processes
• Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for manufacturing equipment
• Execute multiple projects from initiation to completion, including developing scope, cost estimates, and schedules
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues in manufacturing environments and provide third-level support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions for advanced manufacturing systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including NEC, NFPA, and IEC guidelines
• Support the installation and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in electrical design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as NEC, NFPA, and UL508A
• Hands-on experience with Low Voltage (480VAC) electrical systems, including SCR, Transformers, Power Distribution, Motor controls/VFD, and PLC
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or DMAIC principles
• Experience in project leadership and management
• Familiarity with MATLAB & Simulink
