Sr Principal Scientist - Non-Regulated Immunoassay Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific strategy and execution for non-regulated immunoassay development and bioanalysis activities
• Provide technical leadership across platforms including ELISA, MSD/ECL, Gyrolab, Quanterix, and AlphaLISA
• Design, develop, optimize, qualify, and validate immunoassays supporting biologics research and development
• Oversee sample analysis activities to ensure delivery of high-quality, scientifically rigorous data
• Drive operational excellence including workflow management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Discovery Research, Precision Medicine, and Translational Safety teams
• Mentor and develop scientific staff while fostering an innovative laboratory environment
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to expand laboratory capabilities

Requirements

• PhD in Immunology, Biochemistry, Bioanalytical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Extensive experience in immunoassay development and bioanalysis
• Proven expertise in the development, qualification, and validation of non-regulated immunoassays
• Strong hands-on experience with multiple immunoassay platforms and detection technologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex scientific programs and solve technical challenges
• Excellent scientific communication, presentation, and technical writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant industry experience in immunoassay development
• Experience leading laboratory operations and managing priorities in a matrixed environment
• Prior people management or supervisory experience
• Strong understanding of bioanalytical strategies supporting biologics programs
